5 Stars–An emotionally charged, realistic story. I felt every emotion 9-year-old Abby experienced. Abby’s voice was strong and well-written and drew me into the book in a way I didn’t expect. I found myself tearing up at least three different times, and that doesn’t happen very often. This book is deep and would be very hard to read if I were experiencing fresh grief because it is so realistic.
